Energy savings in the data center – in a sustainable way

Data centers consume an ever-increasing proportion of the electricity produced worldwide – having already reached 4% today.

Cooling with conventional technologies contributes considerably to this high consumption. This is exactly where FAHRENHEIT cooling systems come in. Computer power is converted into waste heat. It is precisely this readily available thermal energy that the adsorption technology uses for cooling instead of expensive electricity.

Optionally, adsorption cooling can be driven by external heat sources, such as a combined heat and power plant or solar-thermal collectors.

By means of heat re-use and adsorption cooling, operators of data centers and server rooms can save considerably: Both in terms of electricity and CO2 emissions.
