Advancing the state of the art.
We contribute our knowledge and our innovations to several research consortia in order to advance the state of the art and to benefit the larger community.
The following projects are among the publicly funded ones which FAHRENHEIT participates in.
Heat4Cool works on integrating energy efficient adsorption technology with existing technologies such as gas, solar, and compression-based heat pumps, for retrofitting buildings across Europe. Heat4Cool is supported by the EU.
The objective of ZEOSOL is to develop advanced solar cooling and heating equipment, combining zeolite based adsorption chillers and solar thermal systems. ZEOSOL is funded as part of the EU’s Horizon 2020 program.
The HYBUILD project is a joint effort by partners from 11 EU countries with the aim of developing compact electrical/thermal (i.e., hybrid) storage systems for residential buildings, both in hot as well as in cold climates. HYBUILD receives funding from the EU’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program.
